Linking to Web Sites
- To link one page to another, start with the first page
- Highlight the text that you want people to click on to make the link
- Click on the link button on the toolbar (near the center, with globe icon)
- The top box will have wiki page chosen, but you’ll want to change that, so click on the arrow in that box and select URL.
- In the URL box, paste in the address of the website.
- The link text box will show the text that you highlighted to start this link. Usually you’ll want to keep that, but if you want to change that, you can type in something else. Whatever you put here will appear on the page as the text which people click on to jump to the web site.
