In this guessing game, a die cut reveals the shape of something that's the wrong color, like a red lemon.  Turn the page and the die cut now shows the properly yellow lemon, along with something else that that shows the originally "wrong" color more appropriately (red apple).  This is a natural for Dialogic Reading that works equally well in a group or one on one.  Lots of room for creative guessing by kids.  It's also good for Print Awareness.  The word for each featured color appears in all caps, first on one page, then on the next one.  Pointing to the word for the color reinforces the connection between the letters on the page, what we say when we read, and what the kids see in the illustrations.
