Jingle Jingle by Nicola Smee (2008)
This is a very fun winter book where Duck, Cat, Dog and Pig all go on a sleigh ride adventure. I handed out bells and had the kids shake them whenever we came to the refrain jingle-jingle. I told the parents that shaking the bells is a fun way to emphasize phonological awareness because it helps the kids hear and “feel” the syllables in the words.
