Trains AND barnyard animals? What's not to like?! A very fun book for 2 and 3 year olds - lots of great rhyming for phonological awareness , lots of interaction possibilities with animal noises, and different sizes of print for print awareness . After I read this to my toddlers, I said, "books that have a strong rhyming scheme like that are great for building your child's phonological awareness (pointing to the crayon poster)."
