A Closer Look by Mary McCarthy (2007)

Starting with a big black circle on a red background, illustrations zoom out over several page turns, showing more of the object each time until we discover that's it's a ladybug. Followed by a flower and then a hummingbird. Illustrations are big and bold and carry well in groups. Lots of opportunity for interaction, as kids try to guess what they're seeing. Kind of similar Mouse Views by McMillan or some of Hoban's books, but simpler. The phrase "Look! / what do you / see?" printed boldly over three spreads and gets repeated three times, for print awareness possibilities.
